Christopher Martin is a photographer I came across when exploring motion blur photography. This is an effect I wanted to explore as I think the use of motion blur presents movement in a singular and still image. I feel that the most aesthetically pleasing photos are produced by the composition of the focused object/moving animal.
Within each photo the part I find most aesthetically pleasing is the focus of one - three things within each image. The motion blur purposefully attracts you to one part of the photo and this ranges from a part of a car to swans. The motion blur really helps bring the image alive as it creates the sense that so much more is going on within the photo. For example, in most of these photos without the motion blur the images could've just been boring photos of transport in a street and anyone would've skipped over these images yet with the motion blur it adds life to the images and people stop to analyse them.
